Foreign Transaction Fee

Foreign transaction fees are fees charged to your credit card by payment processing network such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amercian Express, etc, for making purchase overseas. They usually range from 1 to 3% of the transaction.

It is important to remember that if you make a purchase online which is processed through an overseas merchant, you will be charged with these fees. As SalesCatalysts is registered as a Hong Kong company and processes credit card payment through PayPal Hong Kong, if your credit card issuing bank is outside Hong Kong, you may be charged.

As these fees vary and are neither charged nor received by SalesCatalysts, they are not indicated in any of our shopping carts, invoices and receipts. Check your credit card issuing banks for relevant rates.
